There is NO ocean view or nearby beach access. Their promotional material is a scam. Positive: As advertised, “Steps from our beach,” is a total fabrication and a scam. The bed was comfortable. Negative: Their promotional material is misleading. “Steps from our beach” is a total fabrication and a scam. The wall to the neighboring unit is paper thin (i.e., no insulation) allowing us to hear all of the commotion and loud TV of our rude neighbors for our entire 3-day stay. We survived with ear plugs and iPod’s noise canceling feature, especially when trying to sleep! The furnishings throughout are cheap, second hand, thrift store quality, and very uncomfortable. The place is moderately rundown, needing a refresh. Make no mistake, there is NO ocean view. It’s a .6 mile hike to the Turtle Bay hotel, where you can access public beaches, but carrying all the stuff you would like to have at the beach requires packing up and driving over there, and then good luck finding a parking spot anywhere near the beach trail heads. All in all, a real disappointment when considering the money being charged. We would never return, and we encourage the readers of this review to do a much better job researching and validating a better place to stay.

Got out of Honolulu to be near Ohana Positive: Great location. We‘ve been to Oahu before, but we have always stayed in Honolulu and ate at restaurants. We decided this time to cook our own meals to save some money and get away from the big city. It was a first for us and we had a blast. The location was quiet and very close to the beaches and relatives. Negative: No complaints.
